Recurring Services Plan

by Joe Ulm

When I started thinking about how to write this article I came to one important conclusion: writing about your company’s new service offering is probably as interesting as watching paint dry for the reader.  But then I thought I if I talked about how valuable it has been to many of the firms we work with and how we’ve saved them money and increased their network uptime people might be more open to looking through the article.  Then I realized I really am a geek.  Only geeks care about network uptime.

The truth of the matter is that valuable doesn’t equal exciting.  So I decided to give away $5,000 to anyone who reads through the entire article without falling asleep.  Then I realized that would be a complete lie (which it is), so I resorted to writing half of  this article about, well, writing this article.

So now that I have used every cheap trick in the book to get you to read this article (like the title?), I’ll briefly cover our new Recurring Services Plan.  It will be short and painless, I promise.

Schedule ITP to come to your office once a month and save 10% of all our services.

Yep.  That’s the deal.  No contracts, cancel a service date any time, even change your service frequency—whatever works best for you and STILL get 10% off all our technical services.

Why is this so simple?  Where’s the catch?  There isn’t any—really.  The reason we offer this program is because networks need maintenance just like cars do.  But most law firms don't look at it that way and they end up calling us only when there’s a problem.  And, well, we aren't’ incredibly comfortable with always being associated with problems.  On top of that, firms end up paying more than they need to if they don’t properly maintain their network.  It’s like never changing the oil in your car.  The car would continue to run for quite some time, but you would be significantly reducing the life of the car.  Networks operate the same way.   Consequently, when firms allow us to handle problems proactively, they experience better performance from their network and less downtime.  Consequently, they like us more and, well, we like that a  lot.

So if you have a few minutes, drop me a line.  I can give you a little more information and I’ll try not to bore you to tears—I promise.
